that's what i've always wanted...

i feel like it would be so uncomfortable to meet a guy and just start dating him like that, whereas if i were dating a guy who i'd known forever and was already totally comfortable with, it would be great. basically, i want a guy who acts just like my best friend except we could like kiss sometimes or something

That's literally all I want. I've never had a boyfriend but I definitely would like for him to be my best friend first.

Also I CANNOT CALM DOWN IM SORRY. I JUST LOVE THE IDEA OF BEING IN LOVE WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND

this happened to me

it was amazing; the homey kind of love, i was so comfortable around him it was ridiculous

we had the kind of dates where all we did was watch every single extended edition lotr movie for 10 hours and make cookies

then it shattered like glass

we haven't spoken in a year

i wish we were still just friends, because he was the best friend i've ever had

This happened to me...not the whole disneyland thing but the falling in love with your best friend...we realized that we liked each other but to "not make our friendship awkward" we have never gone out as more than just friends. We horse around and hug and we watched a movie and cuddled once but...He has never asked me out and probably never will. He has a girlfriend right now and he has before when I told him that I liked him...I don't really care about it that much unless I see a picture of the two of them together or happen to be with him when he decides we should walk to her house (we all live in the same neighborhood) If I don't see them together though...it doesn't hurt that bad.
