Yesterday, we were in a car accident. It was dark and I drove into a parked car; the impact went through us both but we have no serious injuries. As soon as it happened, you grabbed me, and I was at the side of the road breathless and crying.

I nearly killed you.

But you hugged me and said it's okay, it's okay now and you rang my dad and spoke to the people in the other car and you sorted everything. You came home with me and held me and made me laugh and lit some candles.

You are golden. You must be made of starlight, or rainbows, because you truly are a gem, you are so very precious. I've realised that now.
