I know i promised I'd take a break from writing posts on ltc, but this isn't a post about a crush, this is a post about a very good close friend of mine. We've known each other since I was in first grade and she was in kindergarten. She's now going off to grad school and just got engaged. I feel like she's moving on and I've barely even started. I'm 23 and will be in my senior year this fall, and i have been thinking about grad school lately. But in terms of my love life, I haven't even had my first date let alone my first real relationship. I know i shouldn't compare myself to her, but i honestly feel like im so far behind and wish these things were already happening to me, so i didn't have to wait.

Sincerely a junior in college.

I know the feeling 26 and never been kissed. Everyone my age is getting married and I'm like yeah it's never gonna happen now it's too late. That being said everyone's clock and joirney is diffetent. It will happen when you least expect it when it's meant to be. You just gotta have a little faith.

what matters isn't when you find love, but who you love and how you treat each other. hang in there, love--your day will come :)

Oh and anon, I know what it's like having to wait for your first kiss, I actually had mine at 21 and i know there's a majority of people out there who say their first kiss was great, but to be honest mine wasn't the greatest. The guy who kissed me, was using me to get over his ex, and the second guy who kissed me, didn't know how to. So i'm going to give you a few life lessons to keep in mind. First make sure the person your going to kiss is the right one, don't settle for less. Secondly make sure he's wearing chapstick. It's ok to be nervous and stressed about this, it's a big step to take. But im sure if you keep these tips in mind, your first kiss will turn out great. :)

Expect love when it's least expected.

That's the best time.

Everyone has that moment happen at different times. But it's all worth the wait.

Meanwhile perfect yourself in your art and craft and you other areas of your life.

Then later on everything falls in place. Don't compare yourself with others.

There are those who wish to be in your position as well. It's all in the eye of the beholder
