I’ve never been the type of girl that guys go for.

I have average features, my personality isn’t captivating, and I’m so incredibly awkaward.

There’s a part of me that has always thought that maybe there’s something wonderful in me that everyone else can see, but I can’t.

That probably sounds crazy.

Someone once told me that I’m beautiful, but not in a typical way.

“It’s a rare kind of beauty,” she said. “Not everyone will see it right away, but the right people will,”.

Whatever that means.

One day, I hope to be happy with who I am.

Too bad that’s not today.

There is beauty in awkward. Personally, I think awkward people are the most interesting. It's not the personality as much as the randomness and reactions you get from a person who views the world another way. That in and of itself is captivating. Just keep being you bc I bet you're pretty awesome as you are

^there is definitely something to this... My crush and I certainly aren't "made for each other," but I find myself constantly surprised and amused by her reactions to things and intrigued by our differnt ways of thinking. It makes things so unpredictable and that is part of the fun.

Well you...and all of you....are incredibly articulate. You feel. You have a heart. Someone of quality, sooner or later, will notice these wonderful things and cherish them and you. Heck I notice them just on these brief samplings and I am impressed. And I bet physically you are not giving yourself enough credit. You’re fine. Just the way you are. On this date.
