I need help. I want to write a good letter to my crush (as in one to give to them) not necessarily a confession or anything, but they're having a hard time lately and I want to offer them words of encouragement. Any advice?

Keep it short and simple. “Hey, I’m thinking about you and if you ever need an unbiased ear to vent to, I’m here.” That’s what I always do if I see someone going through a rough time. Don’t volunteer too much because you may stir up unwanted thoughts or feelings, especially if you’re not sure what their coping strategy is. Some people like to keep their problems to themselves and sort them out alone. Keeping it short and simple let’s them know someone is thinking of them but also leaves it up to them to decide if they want encouragement or would prefer privacy. Good luck, hope your crush’s situation improves soon.

I’ve written an actual letter to my past crush and had given it to her in person in her actual hands and it was a very similar situation.

This was back when I was very innocent and naive so I had no clue so I basically wrote what came to the heart

I got a good response the next day. She loved it so much that she had gotten a 100 on her final due to it.

My advice is say what you want but keep it concise BUT powerful. A good writer conveys his concern with the fewest words possible which the biggest impact. Had I known this, it would’ve been helpful.
