I want to ask you how your day went, but I realize I’ve been putting in the effort to talk to you these past three days and you take a long time to respond. Understandably so, you work. You’re busy. You have friends. But I like you, so I put in time to communicate with you and I feel you rarely do the same. When we see each other in person, these things don’t matter because our conversations flow so naturally, but, apart, I hardly know you. We’re strangers.
