Dear "The Prince."

I've known you since 6th grade. You didn't have a lot of friends, you only had one other friend, "Madame De La Bouche." You were really good friends with her, and I felt a little off to the side. I treasured every moment I got with you. Then 7th grade came, and I felt a little awkward around you after being without you over the summer. You became friends with "Lefou" from the previous year, and a new girl, "Miss Andrew." Then some drama happened and you stopped being friends (but in my opinion, it was all "Lefou's" fault) and you were all alone. I couldn't feel bad for "Miss Andrew" and "Lefou" because they all had other friends, but you didn't. I started sitting next to you at recess, in art, at lunch, hoping you'd talk to me (I was never good with making the first move). After a little while you did. That brings me to the final point: I really like you. That's why I was so nervous around you and why "Ensemble/Art Assistant" (my close friend) was usually the one dragging me towards you. But I really did (and do) like you, and I don't want us to just go our separate ways after 8th grade. I guess we'll just see how things turn out.

Best regards,

"Cogsworth"
