for some of my first dates, I went out for coffee/to a café! also, even if there's no good movies playing, it can be fun to watch a bad movie together :) additionally, if there's any nice places around to walk and chat (e.g. a park, the city, etc.) that can be fun too!

Maybe going out for coffee? Or really any restaurant/bakery that’s not McDonald’s? You could also just walk around and talk to each other. (Personally I think a movie would not be a good first date anyway because you can’t speak to each other during the film.) Good luck!

My FAVORITE thing to do with people I don’t know well is to go on walks with them. I know that’s personal to me, but if I’m in a confined space or sitting across from them and I can’t move around my brain stops working normally lol.

So walking, outside in the open (I used to go to a local park with my first boyfriend and even after we’d been together a while we still took a walk any day/night we hung out), is always a good date idea. And you can stop at a local cafe ir restaurant if it suits you.

Walking and talking is my favorite pass-time with any friends/family/lover I’ve ever been close to.

Sometimes we’d bring food with us, or we’d bring money and stop wherever there was food and drink available. Always fun. ❤️

lol I posted this three months ago and was confused why ppl were commenting on it again. I’m so shocked this got on the homepage!

The date went well. We went to a café. It was so nice! And then just recently last Thursday we went for ice cream and walked around talked for so long.
