I silenced parts of myself for you. You didn't like my playfulness or my fondness for conversation. I could only maintain that version of myself for so long. I don't want to feel obligated to withhold pieces of myself to make someone else comfortable.

I think that when it's right, and I'm with someone who's really right for me, they'll not only tolerate it, but they'll embrace and adore it. They'll nurture it.

This is so important!! The right person doesn’t have to be the same as you or “get” everything about you, but they’ll love you all the same.
