@first anon - that's not true. no two people are ever born absolutely perfect for each other. you must always work on the relationship and be willing to change yourself at least a little if you want it to work out.

the work is worth it, though. when you have the right person, the work is so worth it.

If you have to be a little less yourself to make a relationship work, get the hell out of that relationship. Are you kidding me? You would grow so resentful constantly trying to stifle your true self, not to mention you'd be hella miserable. Don't ever kill the true you. Ever.
