I am a huge fan of Bachata and Salsa. My favorite couple is Daniel and Desiree. Recently I've been learning a lot from their dancing skills. In fact, I've been practicing for years now all alone, then this couple came along. I'm not even a huge fan of my own dance culture as much as I am captivated by bachata and salsa. The art is amazing. I'm planning on taking classes near future to develop my skills.

Damn. I love them too. But it's like Idk how you can learn them on your own. Isn't it necessary to have a partner in that. It's like weird to dance like that by yourself xD

Those are very romantic dances as well. ?❤️

Haha I understand your perspective. Actually I've been developing essential skills over the years now. You can work on your movements alone. When it's time to dance with a partner you'll know how to balance your body. It is a great start. I've worked on my body movement alone for years now and that's why I want to take an another step towards this field. (:

On the contrary, I'm a romantic person but have been saving that facet of myself for someone special. ☺️?

Yup. Well swing dancing is very fun too xD. I remember doing that with my crush one and she was impressed.

Hopefully I'll find someone to learn bachata with :)

Good luck on your journey tho. Your partner in life later on will love you for this. I promise you that ;)

I remember watching Bachata videos on YouTube. There was this one couple who danced to Stand by me by Prince Royce. It's goals to learn that with a special someone. I always fantasize about doing Bachata at my wedding. ?☺️

Lol okay.

I think the difference between learning bachata or salsa is that when you do it with a stranger, there are no feelings involved. But when you do it with, for instance I want to do it with my husband then you definitely want to feel the sensation of this art. They're two different approaches.

Why are your friends making decision for you?

Cause them being Desi, they want things to be "traditional" ?

I totally agree with you! Master it with a stranger so you don't get attached to the art of Bachata with a special someone. Smart! That way you can still appreciate Bachata without associating it with a special someone.
