Actual question. How can you tell the difference between a narcissist and an autistic person. Because I read somewhere that a narcissist lacks the ability to understand other peoples feelings or situations but then so do people with Autism...

They play hot and cold with me and they gaslight me, they tell me lies how they love me etc...and the next day, they treat me like shxt. They promise me they would not be harsh to me and hours later they insult me, leave me. I am sick of it. I don't know how I didn't see this at the beginning.

people on the spectrum are very empathetic, they just do not display it in the neurotypical way.

You have to ask yourself why you keep doing this. What is the pay off? The addiction for you here? There is a reason this keeps happening
